Keep in mind the image quality is down and this will be the backdrop for the flash, just the initial design I was presenting.

what I was thinking of doing is using that lower plate as the link area, and when one of the links on the left are selected (which will produce a glow on the backdrop on mouseover) the bottom will lower to reveal a text area with the links (in a scroll environment)
The page is left light to allow more crisp tables and images (once we have a table)

I will also ad a few quirks (like the trek background) that can change when you select an area to go to, which will probably be some lil annimation with the areas like NwN and SFC ect...

The xeno on the right will have some nice lighting effects and I should be able to insert a scrolling news bar somewhere in there that reads from a text file.

This will be in the upper frame, so all the content will be on the lower frame and give off the appearance of a smooth transition. It will also allow the expanded menus you were wanting, along with coded links in the main content page.

Well, I like it.

Considering this would be the "Corporate" mainframe, and all the other sections would be customized per game.

I really like it.
