LOOTING PROTOCOL
Posted: Sun Aug 30, 2009 8:08 pm
This is a post to clear up any questions about looting.
As it is currently, we've no reason to modify the Master Loot options. Keep it that way
Here's the current protocol regarding BLUE and PURPLE drops in any instance, epic or not:
I.) If your ACTIVE character can use the item, then you may roll NEED for the item.
II.) If any of your alternates can use the item AND the item is Bind on Equip (BoE), then you may roll GREED for the item.
If the item is Bind on Pickup (BoP), then obviously if none of the active characters can use it, but an alternate can of one who is CURRENTLY a member of the party, then that member may leave the instance to retrieve the alternate and pick up the loot.
ANYONE who just "reacts" to a blue drop and rolls NEED for it before considering the rest of the Guild members present will forfeit their rights to loot for the following, based upon progressive sanctions:
FIRST INFRACTION: A warning will be issued.
SECOND INFRACTION: Individual will be placed upon a NO LOOT restriction, IE he / she will NOT be eligible for loot drops in party for a period of ONE WEEK.
THIRD INFRACTION: Individual will be placed upon a NO LOOT restriction, IE he / she will NOT be eligible for loot drops in party for a period of ONE MONTH.
FOURTH and any subsequent INFRACTION: Individual will be likely removed from the guild.
These rules are non-negotiable.
Regards,
